KOLKATA: The Bengal selectors decided to bank on experience as they brought back old warhorses Manoj Tiwary and Anushtup Majumdar to the side for the Vijay Hazare Trophy (50-over) meet.

Both the veteran players opted out of the season-opening Syed Mushtaq Ali (T20) meet where Bengal went in with a rather young squad where they were ousted in the quarters going down to Himachal Pradesh in a last-ball thriller.
