Many viewers tuning into the television coverage of Queen Elizabeth II 's funeral on Monday claimed that Meghan Markle was 'blocked' from being seen properly.
Upon tuning in to ceremony - which was held at Westminster Abbey - several people took to Twitter to question whether mother-of-two Meghan had been positioned behind a candle on purpose.
Meghan, 41, sat behind Camilla, The Queen consort and next to her husband Prince Harry - but for much of the State Funeral service, only her black hat could be visible to those watching on television at home.
There is no suggestion the placing of one of four candles surrounding Her Majesty's coffin was intentionally positioned to obscure Meghan's face, but this didn't stop people from questioning it.
One person tweeted: "I don't want to be a conspiracy theorist but that candle is totally blocking the view of Meghan."
Another person posted: "Do you think they put Meghan behind that candle on purpose?" adn a third viewer asked: "Have they strategically placed a candle to block Meghan's face lmao."
Someone else commented: ""Unfortunately, the television camera's view of #Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, is obscured by a large candle."
A different person was convinced and claimed: "Meghan was definitely hidden behind that candle deliberately at #queensfuneral."
Someone else asked: "Why did they hide Meghan behind a great big candle."
Meghan was dressed head-to-toe in black for the sad occasion and even accessorised with a pair of long gloves.
Whilst this accessory is not compulsory at such an event, it has been suggested that the women chose to wear the gloves as a touching nod to the late Queen, who was always spotted out with her signature pairs of gloves, which she wore for a number of reasons - including hygiene.
It would make sense that the Royals were making a sweet tribute to the former monarch by wearing gloves, though, as Meghan was pictured wearing her black gloves as she attended the state funeral in an elegant black ensemble.
Kate, the Princess of Wales, wasn't pictured with her gloves on, but she did carry them in her hands, potentially as a mark of respect, alongside her clutch bag. She also wore a wide-brimmed hat that came complete with a subtle veil.
