Vidushi Mehra: Shefali Shah is ruling the roost on OTT and it is an absolute pleasure to watch her

Vidushi Mehra was recently seen in Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Dobaaraa’ with Taapsee Pannu and Pavail Gulati. In an exclusive chat with ETimes, the actress opened up about opportunities for actresses above 40, women-centric content and more.

Vidushi has been a part of films like, ‘Aisha’, ‘7 Khoon Maaf’, ‘No One Killed Jessica’ and many others. When asked if these films have been a conscious choice, Vidushi said, “I don’t really choose my scripts. They come to me. The casting directors have a fair idea of my talent and what I can be showcased in. I just happen to agree with their sensibilities. So I end up auditioning for them and get the parts. I am very happy with my body of work. I don’t live in Mumbai. I work from Delhi. I am very fortunate that casting directors recognise my talent and reach out to me for these specific roles.”
