PERTH, Australia – The UFC 284 pre-fight press conference took place Friday.
The two sets of title fight participants and the featured main card bout were in attendance, including lightweight champion Islam Makhachev, who defends his title vs. featherweight champ Alexander Volkanovski in the main event. In addition, the interim featherweight title co-headliner between Yair Rodriguez and Josh Emmett, and Perth’s own Jack Della Maddalena vs. Randy Brown were on hand.
There was plenty of banter to go around among the six competitors, and while nothing got overly heated, it was clear everyone is ready for battle inside the octagon.

UFC 284 takes place Saturday at RAC Arena. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN and early prelims on ESPN+.
