Before you put on your tin foil hats and wonder if referees in Iowa’s win over Michigan State ignored Caitlin Clark maybe getting her unreal shot from the logo AFTER the buzzer, nope.
Thanks to fans on X (formerly Twitter), we can confirm for sure that the shot went off before the red light went on, before the buzzer sounded and before the clock hit 0.0.
Can’t we just sit back and continue to be in awe of the Iowa superstar instead and not question stuff like this?
In the meantime, here’s the proof that it definitely counted and was pre-buzzer:
To all the twitter judges posting that the Caitlin Clark shot was late- y’all know they review these things, stop being weird and saying it didn’t count. It counted. pic.twitter.com/lcfL43b2B7
