Video footage shows the aftermath of a melee involving former Everton skipper Ashley Williams at his son's football match.
The former Everton player and Wales captain was charged with improper conduct including violent or threatening behaviour by the Manchester FA following the incident. The incident is believed to have happened during an under-12s game in the East Manchester Junior Football League between his son's side TSC and Corinthians at Wright-Robinson College, Gorton.
Reports suggested the melee was sparked by a clash between players on the pitch. Mr Williams then allegedly became involved in an "altercation" with another adult. The match, which took place last month, was reportedly abandoned after the alleged incident.

Mobile phone footage has now emerged showing the aftermath. The Manchester Evening News reported Mr Williams denied any wrongdoing and vowed to "rigorously" defend the charge.
A spokesperson for Mr Williams said the 38-year-old BBC pundit was defending himself in relation to the charges. He added: "Ashley had been assaulted and was defending himself. We have 45 witnesses – including people associated with the two teams who were about to use the pitch - who will back up our version of events and we will defend Ashley vigorously."
Mr Williams is believed to have requested a personal hearing and is expected to continue his role as a BBC TV pundit, where he appears on programmes including Match of the Day. A spokesperson for the broadcaster told the Mail: "This is a personal matter for Ashley and the sport’s governing body."
Mr Williams played for Everton FC between 2016 and 2019 making 73 appearances in all competitions. The former Swansea FC man also captained Wales and made 86 appearances for his national team.
The FA told WalesOnline the matter is being managed by the Manchester County FA. A spokesman for Manchester County FA said: "Following an investigation, Mr Williams has been charged by Manchester FA with an alleged breach of FA Rule E3 - Improper Conduct (including violent conduct and threatening and/or abusive language/behaviour), and has responded to the charge requesting a personal hearing."
