Rita Ora fought back tears as she remembered her friend and collaborator Liam Payne with a tearful tribute at the MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs).
The former One Direction singer died aged 31 after falling from a third-floor balcony of the Casa Sur Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in October.
Ora led a tribute to the star as she hosted the ceremony in Manchester on Sunday, 10 November.
“Liam Payne was one of the kindest people that I knew," she told the crowd.
“He had the biggest heart and was always the first person to offer help in any way that he could."
