RAIPUR: After a controversial video featuring a Congress MLA sitting beside a stack of notes went viral, the opposition BJP asked Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel if he would take action against the said MLA and order a CBI inquiry.
Ramkumar Yadav, the MLA representing Chandrapur in Chhattisgarh, was seen with bundles of notes in the video alongside some other individuals, and this has come under scrutiny following the opposition's demand for action.
BJP General Secretary O. P. Choudhary, who shared the video on social media, told the media on Sunday that the footage shows a pile of notes placed in front of the legislator, prompting speculation and demands for a thorough investigation. The video has left many wondering whether the Congress party will address the issue head-on or opt for a comprehensive probe by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to ascertain the truth.
