Vidarbha storm into Ranji Trophy knockouts with big win

NAGPUR: Faiz Fazal's last day as a professional cricketer resulted in a big win for Vidarbha on Monday. The former champions defeated Haryana by 115 runs and booked the quarterfinal spot of the Ranji Trophy.

The Day 4 proceedings at the VCA Civil Lines Stadium saw Vidarbha putting up a commanding performance. The worn-out pitch started showing its wicked nature early in the day as Vidarbha lost Yash Rathod (4;14b), their fifth wicket, with the addition of just 17 runs to the overnight score of 113.
