A Victorian man has been charged with murder following the death of a woman in regional Victoria in 2019.
The 44-year-old woman was found with life-threatening injuries at her Morwell home, in the state's east, on October 18, 2019.
She died from her injuries in hospital on November 7.
A 51-year-old man was arrested at an Oakleigh address in Melbourne's eastern suburbs and charged with one count of murder on Thursday.
Police allege he assaulted the woman in the early hours of October 18.
The man is due to face the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Thursday.
