A VICTORIAN hotel located in a famous Highlands town where Macbeth, King of Scots, who died in battle has gone up for sale.
The Macbeth Arms, located in Lumphanan, has hit the market for offers over £270,000.
The town is famously the site where Macbeth fell at the battle of Lumphanan in 1057.
Macbeth’s Stone and Macbeth’s Well are near the village and attract many tourists who want to learn more about Scottish history.
The Hotel dates from the late 1800s and has four large rooms, a bar, and a dining room.
The pub is popular with both locals and guests as it has a pool table and a jukebox.
The towns of Aboyne, Ballater, Banchory, and Braemar are also located nearby and boast some stunning countryside.
