Victoria Beckham jetted back to London to support her friend and fellow Spice Girl Mel B as she collected her MBE. The 46-year-old pop star was honoured during an investiture ceremony at Buckingham Palace on Wednesday morning (May 4).
Mel B, whose real name is Melanie Brown, was made an MBE for services to charitable causes and vulnerable women in the 2022 New Year's Honours, which she had now dedicated to "all the other women" who are dealing with domestic violence as she collected the award from the Duke of Cambridge.
And Victoria, 48, was among those sharing their support for the singer's exciting achievement and played a special part in the day. Mel B was accompanied to the Palace by her proud mother, Andrea, and the pair both looked the part as they wrote VB Design dresses.

Mel looked elegant in a bright red dress which she paired with a matching fascinator and white heels while Andrea Brown beamed alongside her daughter in a similar white dress as they posed outside the grand vanue.
Taking to her Instagram Stories in the afternoon, Victoria shared her pride for her former bandmate and said it was an 'honour' to to be able to dress Mel and Andrea for the very special occasion. Sharing a photo of Mel posing with her mum, the fashion designer wrote: "A true role model, it was such an honour to dress you and your mum.
"Mel is wearing the Fitted T-shirt Dress in Tomato Red, and iconic VB silhouette and colour. Her mum, Andrea wears a VB T-shirt Dress with a subtle off white check motif."
Victoria had earlier taken time to shine a light on Mel and her charitable work and praise her for her dedication to an important cause. Sharing an image of Mel with her medal, Victoria wrote: "I'm so proud of @officialmelb receiving her well-deserved MBE. Mel’s work as a patron for @womens_aid raising awareness for domestic violence and supporting vulnerable women is so important.
"From delivering reports on the economics of abuse to 10 Downing Street to featuring in an awareness-raising music video, Mel has continued to push for change and speak up for women in need."
In a follow-up post, she continued: "@womens_aid is an amazing organisation that works to provide life-saving services to build a future where domestic abuse does not exist. They work to educate, fundraise and provide support for survivors to build responses, resources and strength. By listening to women they can provide help earlier and make sure it’s effects actually last."
Victoria also got to join in on Mel's celebrations, later sharing a picture of them together with Andrea and her own mum Jackie Adams. The mum-of-four cut a stylish figure wearing her own designs as did her mum.
