Victoria Beckham pulled out all the stops for her son, Brooklyn Beckham's wedding to actress Nicola Peltz.
The former Spice Girl singer, 47, donned a £2million diamond necklace on the special day which accompanied her custom-made silver satin gown.
The wife of David Beckham looked sensational in the show-stopping outfit, and her ensemble was all a part of a secret wedding theme.
In a touching gesture, Victoria decided to repurpose a diamond which her husband David gave to her on the day of Brooklyn’s christening.
The lovebirds made sure to include the special 21.5 carat diamond on their eldest son's wedding day as it glistened on Victoria's neck throughout the stunning ceremony.
Victoria and David repurposed the diamond by suspending it from a French 18 carat yellow gold handmade filigree link guard chain.
The stunning piece is crafted from an English chain featuring a wild bee motif leading to a fist symbol - which is also known as a figa: a talisman symbol worn to protect against the evil eye, and to bring good luck when gifted.
And it turns out talismans were a secret theme of the Brooklyn and Nicola's wedding.
The actresses mother, Claudia, had Valentino's seamstresses sew an evil eye into the skirt of her daughter's gown, alongside a special message from her.
It comes as Victoria reportedly struggled with taking a back seat during the planning of the wedding of her son, Brooklyn, and Nicola.
The former singer was on hand to watch her 23-year-old son walk down the aisle at a ceremony in Miami over the weekend and welcomed 27-year-old Nicola into her family.
However, Nicola’s family – headed by American businessman Nelson Peltz, 79, who is worth a reported £1.3 billion – took care of all the planning.
As a result, a £3 million ceremony was held at one of the Peltz’s family homes – a £76million oceanfront mansion in Miami while three giant marquees offered shelter to the A-List guests and housed a dance floor, catering area and more.
According to new! magazine, Victoria had her nose knocked out of joint over the fact she was kept out of the planning stage.
A source told the magazine: “Victoria likes to take control of things but this wedding was completely organised by Nicola’s family.
“She had to take a back seat, which she found a bit difficult.
“But she understood and just wanted them to have the best day.”
