Victoria Beckham has revealed her daughter Harper is not a fan of some of the outfits she wore during her Spice Girls days.
The fashion designer said her 10-year-old daughter told her some of her skirts were “unacceptable” because they were “too short”.
In the interview, she said: “She’s [Harper] not one of these kids who are going out with a full face of make-up and a crop top.
“She actually said to me recently, ‘Mummy, I’ve seen some pictures of you when you were in the Spice Girls and your skirts were just unacceptable. They were just too short.”
The artist formerly known as Posh Spice went on to explain how husband David Beckham, 47, didn’t really help the situation.
“Then David piped up and said, “Absolutely, Harper! They really, really were.” And she was actually quite disgusted at how short my skirts were,” she added to Vogue Australia as she covered the magazine.
“I said, ‘Are you never going to wear skirts like that?’ She said, ‘Absolutely not.’ We’ll see.”
Her remarks come as she and her former England football player other half celebrate their 23rd wedding anniversary.
Taking to Instagram, she marked the milestone by uploading a picture of the couple beaming with happiness.
She captioned the image: “They say he isn’t funny, they say I never smile, they said it wouldn’t last,
“Today we celebrate 23 years being married. David you are my everything, I love you so much.”
In his own tribute on social media, Mr Beckham uploaded an old clip where they were both interviewed by Sacha Baron Cohen’s comedy alter-ego Ali-G.
In the video, Ali-G asks him if he had been “into the Spice Girls,” before meeting his wife, to which he replies, “no, but I was into Posh”.
“23 years ago today Posh became Mrs Beckham, but she will always be Posh,” he wrote alongside it. “Happy Anniversary WOW 23 years & 4 beautiful kiddies. I love you, we all love you.”
His post included many red love heart emojis.
