Victoria Beckham has collaborated with her son Romeo’s ex-girlfriend Mia Regan on a new range for her eponymous fashion brand.

The former Spice Girl launched Mia Regan x Victoria Beckham on Thursday, a six-piece capsule collection focused on denim.

The collection is available online and at her Dover Street flagship store, with prices starting from £80 for a simple cotton vest top to £490 for a denim jacket.

Speaking about the collaboration, Beckham told British Vogue: “Mia has always had a unique approach to fashion and styling.

“I love that she’s fun and not afraid to try new things when it comes to her personal style, which is reflected in the capsule.”

Regan said Beckham gave her full control of the project. “I’ve always wanted to do something like this,” she said. “I felt that [Victoria] really trusted me. To see her in full work mode was cool.”

On Wednesday, Beckham, 48, teased the collaboration on Instagram with a short advert. This showed Regan, 19, frolicking on a beach in an array of outfits - including double denim.

It’s not the first time the pair have worked together, with Regan previously modelling pieces designed by the star on social media.

Their latest collaboration will come as a surprise considering the teenager is believed to have split from Beckham’s son Romeo, 20, this summer after three years together.

Fans noticed the son of David Beckham had deleted all traces of Regan from his Instagram account in July. Regan, meanwhile, had not posted anything about her the budding footballer for more than two months.

At the time, it was claimed their busy schedules and the pressures of being in a long-distance relationship - with Beckham being based in the US and Regan in the UK - had led to their break-up.

A source told the MailOnline: “Essentially, the long-distance relationship at their young ages took its toll. Romeo and Mia are both lovely young people, they’re very fond each other and the [Beckham] family love Mia.

“She’s continuing to collaborate with Victoria Beckham through her work, but sadly Romeo and Mia aren’t together any more.”
