New bombshell claims surrounding Nicola Peltz and mother-in-law Victoria Beckham's 'feud' have emerged, suggesting tensions came to a head during her multi-million dollar wedding to Brooklyn in Florida in April.
There has been speculation there has been 'cold war' between the actress, 27, and Posh, 48, for months with the once gushing Instagram posts about one another being curiously quiet on both social media profiles.
And now it has been reported tensions can be traced back to the wedding, with claims from Nicola never intending to wear a dress designer by her mother-in-law to the Marvel star storming out of the reception over Victoria 'stealing' her first dance song.
Despite Nicola breaking her silence on her choice to wear a stunning Valentino gown over one designer by Posh, it has now been suggested the actress was never going to wear a dress created by her mother-in-law's synonymous label.
"She (Nicola) was always just going to let her design something but she was never going put that on her, she has too many actually talented designer friends," a source told Mail Online.
The new claim is a different version of accounts from Nicola's wedding interview with Vogue where she said: "I was going to and I really wanted to, and then a few months down the line, she realised that her atelier couldn’t do it, so then I had to pick another dress.
"She didn’t say you can’t wear it; I didn’t say I didn’t want to wear it. That’s where it started, and then they ran with that".
And the bridal dress reportedly wasn't the only point of contention between the two.
Nicola is said to have "stormed off" in the middle of her wedding reception and was "crying her eyes out" because of a speech made in tribute her mother-in-law.
A source has alleged that the bride even ended up "crying her eyes out" at one point during the reception, which was held for the couple at an estate in Palm Beach, Florida.
A source told the publication Nicola was offended by a speech that is said to have been given at the wedding by singer Marc Anthony, 53 – who is a close friend of David's.
The speech has been described as "gushing" and the outlet said it was "all about" Victoria. The source said: "It was totally just an ode to Victoria and how awesome she is. "
They said that Nicola enjoys being the centre of attention and had especially wanted that for her wedding day, adding that the bride was "really p****ed off" over the speech.
It's also claimed the newlyweds' original choice for the first dance song had to be changed after Posh Spice "stole" it for her own mother-son dance.
An insider claimed how the couple initially wanted to dance to Marc Anthony's You Sang To Me, but Victoria ensured it was her on the dance floor to the tune - something which is said to have ruffled feather's with Nicola as the Peltz family 'paid a handsome sum' to have him sing at the wedding.
The tune includes romantic lyrics such as "Now I'm crazy for your love" and "When I called you late last night you see I was falling into love".
But the source who attended the wedding claimed Marc had asked Nicola and Brooklyn to pick their favourite song to dedicate to them.
They said: "Nicola left the room because she and Brooklyn thought Marc was introducing them for a special dance to a love song the couple had chosen.
"But without any warning and at the request of Victoria, Marc switched it to a mother-son dance using the same song. Most of the guests could tell something off had happened."
It has since been reported tensions have become even worse since the nuptials, with Victoria 'snubbing' Brooklyn, 23, and Nicola for her Paris Fashion Week show.
An insider told the publication the couple were surprised over the alleged invite, which people close to the actress think was because Posh was worried would 'steal the show's thunder'.
Sources added Brooklyn feels 'torn in the crossfire' with conflicting loyalties.
