Victoria Beckham and David Beckham, iconically known as 'Posh and Becks', have celebrated being married 24 years today as the pair both paid gushing tributes to each other on their social media with some epic 90s throwbacks.
Footballing legend David tied the knot with the former Spice Girl on July 4, 1994, at a star-studded lavish ceremony in Luttrellstown Castle in Ireland. The couple were already parents to son Brooklyn, now 24, born only a few months earlier.
The ceremony in Dublin wasn't short of famous and well-known faces, such as Victoria's former band pals Emma Bunton, Melanie Brown and Melanie Chisholm with the pair's wedding going down in history as one of the most iconic celeb bashes.
Posting on Instagram on Tuesday, David shared a sweet snap of him and Victoria in the early days of their relationship looking very baby-faced as they posed in a pub with their dogs.
He penned: "On this day 4.7.99 24 years and counting. To the best wife, mummy & drinking partner (most of the time) Happy Anniversary love u so much."
David was flooded with messages of congratulations from his 80 million followers, including famous friends Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria, former England defender Gary Neville, and designer Kim Jones.
Gary, who was reportedly David's best man at the wedding according to the Mirror, wrote: “Happy Anniversary to both of you and all my love.”
Eva commented: “Happy anniversary to my favorite couple in the world!” while British designer Kim added: “Love you both.”
Victoria, 49, also posted her own tribute as she shared a clip of their wedding day on Instagram which showed they cut their huge cake which was decorated with green foliage and fruit using a gift sword from their son baby Brooklyn.
The pair wore matching purple outfits as the crowds of friends and family watched on. The glorious cake was topped with figures of Victoria, David and Brooklyn, and featured one layer of fruit cake, a vanilla sponge and carrot cake.
“4.7.99 24 years ago. I love you so much @DavidBeckham,” she captioned the clip, which shows her and David kissing after cutting the cake with the specially made sword.
David and Victoria share four children Brooklyn, 24, Romeo, 20, Cruz, 18, and Harper, 11 and have reportedly renewed their vows in 2006 with only six guests in attendance at their Hertfordshire home, including their sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz.
