Victor Wembanyama Made NBA History With Impressive Feat Over Spurs' Last Two Games

San Antonio Spurs rookie Victor Wembanyama made history during the team’s recent two-game winning streak.

The Spurs have knocked off the Oklahoma City Thunder and Indiana Pacers in their previous two games, largely thanks to sheer dominance from their rookie center.

Wembanyama has been prolific on both ends of the floor, serving as a defensive anchor, rim protector, and a versatile shot-maker and space creator offensively.

After dropping 31 points, 12 rebounds, six assists and six blocks against the Pacers on Sunday, Wembanyama became the first rookie in league history to record consecutive games with 25-plus points, 10-plus rebounds, five or more assists and five-plus blocks, per StatMuse

On Thursday, Wembanyama had 28 points, 13 rebounds, seven assists and five blocks, and he followed it up with an equally impressive performance on Sunday.

Wembanyama seemingly sets some sort of history just about every night he steps onto the floor of late. Since Feb. 12, the No. 1 pick averages 24.6 points alongside a jaw-dropping 5.7 blocks per game.

The Spurs have now won back-to-back games for just the third time this season, and they’ll look to secure their first three-game winning streak of the year on Tuesday against the Houston Rockets.
