The Cleveland Browns found themselves having to scramble last week when rookie defensive tackle Mike Hall Jr. was arrested and charged with misdemeanor domestic violence.
This caused Hall Jr. to void all of the guarantees written into his rookie contract.
It was reported in a statement given by his fiance, the victim, that Hall Jr. had dragged her by her feet down the driveway, threw all of her clothes outside telling her to leave the house, and even pointed a gun at her head. Now, the victim has given the police a new statement following the arrest of Hall Jr.
The FOX 8 News team requested a copy of the statement but were told that it is evidence until Hall Jr. returns to court on September 10.
Despite his arrest on Tuesday, Hall Jr. returned to practice on Wednesday as the Browns took part in joint practices with the Vikings, and then played in their second preseason game on Saturday.
