Vicky Phelan has taken to social media to hail the Irish rugby team, after she watched them ease by Wales in style in one of Limerick's most iconic pubs.
Conway added a second in the 52nd minute to put Ireland out of sight before Garry Ringrose wrapped up the winning bonus point right on the hour in front of a delighted full house on Lansdowne Road.
And Vicky had a great seat to watch it it seems, as she settled into South's Pub.
She told her Instagram followers: "I had THE most wonderful lazy afternoon sitting in not just ANY pub but in one of Limerick's best known and best-loved pubs.
"Thank you to the Hickey family and ALL the staff at South's, especially Suzanne and Libby, who reserved a table for me and my gang, and who not only wouldn't take any payment but topped up my hot water bottle and made my stay so very comfortable with cushions and a very comfortable seat with a great view of the proceedings - Ire v Wales for Ireland's opening Six Nations match...and what a match!"
And the brilliant performance on the field in the Aviva was replicated for Vicky and co in South's!.
"A great win by Ireland. Could we start talking about a Grand Slam just yet?? THANK YOU does not seem quite enough for what today meant to me...to get out of the house and watch a rugby match in a pub, surrounded by good friends, great food and excellent service and making more wonderful memories".
