Saoirse Ruane's mother has revealed her beloved daughter is “back home where she belongs” an amazing nine days after cancer surgery.
The Galway girl who won the hearts of the nation after appearing on the Late Late Toy Show is battling cancer for a second time.

Her proud mother Roseanna shared the news with their friends and followers on Instagram.
“9 days post-surgery and our girl is back home where she belongs. It’s very surreal to think she’s home and that she is making such a remarkable recovery,” she wrote.
She continued by expressing how she is in awe of her daughter's strength.
“If I never knew the answer to the question “who is your hero?” I certainly know it now….Saoírse you really are a very SPECIAL girl and we are so glad you chose us to be your parents.”
The post was accompanied by a tear-jerking video.
With Coming Home by Skylar Grey playing in the background, the video shows a smiling Saoirse beaming and being embraced by her father and her reunion with her little sister Farrah-Rose.
Roseanna thanked their followers for the continued love and support shown for her daughter.
The brave girl appeared on the Late Late Show earlier this month singing alongside composer RuthAnne Cunningham to launch The Late Late Toy Show musical.
Vicky Phelan and the official account for the Late Late Show both showed their support for Saoirse by commenting with a series of love heart emojis on the post.
