Vicky Pattison has been supported by her celebrity pals and millions of followers as she explained her reasons for going on a social media break.
The former Geordie Shore star is quite active on Instagram, regularly updating her page with glam but also very honest updates.
But the 'exhausted' reality star has decided its time to switch off from the online world and shared a photo to her five million followers which read: "Temporarily closed for spiritual maintenance."

Vicky, who recently got engaged to her partner Ecran Ramadan in Dubai, then issued a lengthy message to her fans where she explained how the photo sharing platform had become 'toxic' for her, and that she's been the subject of 'misplaced anger'.
"I think I'm long overdue a bit of a break from social media. I intended to have one in Dubai but with the engagement & everything, all the lovely moments & beautiful things to take pictures of I think I just got too excited to share everything with you all," she began her post.
"And that’s what I love about social media- seeing everyone’s big wins, achievements & gorgeous life moments & celebrating with them- but I also love people’s honesty when things aren’t going so well- it takes bravery to open up & be vulnerable on here as you never know how it’s going to be received and as we all know people can be cruel, I feel like now more so than ever there’s an anger to this platform.’
Vicky, 34, went on: "The world is angry atm- I get that… I am too- but projecting your fear, uncertainty & hate onto well meaning people across social media is not a suitable outlet for your pain. I just don’t feel like I can win atm & I don’t think trying to is the correct way to spend my time…"
The reality TV favourite continued to explain how whatever she did, she received a negative response in return and said it was 'exhausting'.
"If I’m curvier I’ve 'let myself go' but if I’ve lost weight I look 'ill' & 'I’m no longer an advocate for curvy women.' If I do a post regarding my normal life or something fun or light-hearted I’m a 'disgrace & should be ashamed of myself' because of what’s going on in Ukraine however if I proactively try to do my bit then 'where was my support for Syria?' Or my effort isn’t good enough," Vicky explained.
"This dialogue is exhausting! And for someone like me, who’s really just trying to spread some love, light & positivity- it’s too much.
"I should be on cloud 9 atm focusing on my gorgeous new fiancé, my family & friends! But instead I’m being dragged further down this hole of negativity & misplaced anger. I know deep down it doesn’t matter how nice I am on here, how normal, how honest, how relatable I am- I will never people please my way into collective acceptance."
She finished her post by saying: "And I need to stop trying & just focus on the things that bring me happiness & peace- sometimes self care is choosing not to argue with people who are committed to misunderstanding you.
"I’m overdue a bit of that self care I think so I’m going to see if I can get that lovely post engagement bubble feeling back this week & remove myself from the toxicity of Instagram. Thankyou."
Gemma Atkinson, who is also often praised for her frank posts when it comes to fitness and motherhood, was among the first to comment, telling Vicky: "Always do you Vik."
Singer and theatre star Alexandra Burke also added: "You absolutely do you babe. And take your time."
Fans were also quick to back her.
