Vicky Pattison has thrown light on the 'unperfect' side of her life away from her glossy social media profile.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, the former Geordie Shore star, 35, proudly showed off her "cellulite and tummy rolls" in a slew of snaps in a bid to wage war against the heavily filtered and unrealistic expectations social media can bring.
In the body confidence post, Vicky shared a mirror selfie of her figure in a black bikini to embrace her "wrinkles, dimpled skin and double chin".
She penned: "Social media can often be misleading... After nothing more than a quick scroll through Instagram it can convince you that everyone has the perfect body, no one ever takes a bad picture, everyone's skin is perfectly smooth and they all have their s**t together.."
Vicky said after a scroll through her profile she realised she had too many "carefully curated glam shots" and wanted to give an insight into her "reality".
"I'd like to think I show both sides of the coin on my Instagram... but after a little flick through this morning I realised there were probably far too many carefully curated glam shots and fancy ads- so here is some of my reality- a reality that I am not only not ashamed of, but f**king proud of," the television personality wrote.
"I am 35, I have wrinkles, cellulite, dimpled skin, tummy rolls, absolutely NO lips compared to everyone else on here it seems and double chins... I have good angles and bad, I have good days and bad... and none of this makes me any less of a good person or less deserving of self love.
"Don't get too hung up on the 'perfect' side of social media, don't let those images effect how you see yourself and your self worth- because behind every single one of those glam shots were a million more like this."
Vicky urged her followers to be kind to themselves as "there's far more beauty to be found in the real".
She added: "You are special, beautiful and deserving of love regardless of what clothes size you wear, whether your kitchen is tidy or whether your skin is perfectly smooth... "
It comes after Vicky slammed Instagram earlier this month for removing one of her posts for "hate speech".
The star took to the social media platform to share her anger after a "fun little reel" featuring her fiancé Eric Ramadan was deleted.
Vicky received a notice telling her the post had gone against the site's community guidelines.
Sharing a screenshot of the message, she wrote: "@instagram are you joking me??? A fun little reel about me fella having the emotional capabilities of a slipper is considered 'hate speech'?!
"Yet there are children being bullied to the point of suicide?
"Professional Athletes being racially abused and young women being cyber stalked to the point where they don't feel safe in their own homes that you supposedly can't do anything about but THIS is a big priority?!!!!"
The former Geordie Shore star urged the social media platform to "address your priorities".
