Vicky Pattison reveals that she lost three stone after having contraceptive implant removed

Vicky Pattison has revealed that she burned three stone following the removal of her contraceptive implant.

The 34-year-old from Newcastle was enjoying a picturesque holiday in Greece with her fiancé Ercan Ramadan and family, when she took part in an inquisitive Q&A session.

Sharing a photo of herself sipping on an Aperol Spritz, she told her loyal fanbase to ask her anything they were curious about.

The Mirror reports that a fan, replied: "You have lost so much weight but always post pictures of you scoffing, how do you do it xx." In response, Vicky said: "Around a year ago I had my contraceptive implant removed - I did it predominantly as I needed to live without synthetic hormones in my body but it also saw me lose about a stone in three months."

Vicky has previously opened up about her weight issues, with last year vowing to give up caring about her appearance and clothes size. She explained that after years of dieting and saying 'no' to the things she wanted to experience and eat, that she was finally saying 'yes' to sweet treats and desserts.

She said: "This year more so than ever we shouldn't be being too hard on ourselves. I'm not a massive fan of self-sacrifice and self-deprivation anyway because life is to be lived, but I do think it's nice that you can make small changes to your diet which if you do consistently you can have great results, it makes you feel healthier and happier.

"So my plan is saying yes to pudding but switching it out to a little jelly pot."

Vicky also said in the past that despite what it may appear on the outside looking in, she wasn't happy when she was at her skinniest. She said: "I still maintain that sentiment, it's taken me a long time to feel that way. I think a couple of years ago I realised I want to be happy and I want to be healthy but I don't want a number on a scale to be what drives me anymore and I don't want to be obsessed with clothes sizes any more."
