Vicky Pattison has been flooded with praise after sharing how she spent her Christmas Eve as she welcomed a new member into her family. The former Geordie Shore star shared a video to Instagram which showed her making the long trip from Essex to Wales to pick up her new pet dog.
Vicky had already teased a new addition to her clan with fiancé Ercan Ramadan after adopting their first pet pooch, Milo, last year. Posting on Instagram last week, the 35-year-old teased the new pup's arrival by holding up a name tag in front of her Christmas tree.
"We've been keeping a little secret..." she typed. Max... Coming December 2022. We can't wait for you all to meet him." And on Christmas Day, Vicky introduced the gorgeous new member of the family to her 5.2m followers. She posted a snap of herself and Ercan in matching festive pyjamas while both Max and Milo wore Christmas jumpers.

"Merry Christmas from the mad house," the former I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here winner typed. "So I know you've all been dying for a picture of our baby max but honestly... it wasn't exactly easy! Our house is complete chaos and I imagine it's going to be that way for a while with our two cheeky boys but how much I love them more than makes up for it.
"It was about a 12-hour round trip yesterday to collect our baby and his big brother Milo was honestly so sooooo good all the way there and all the way back- I couldn't be prouder of him." She went on to add: "Thankyou @manytearsrescue for trusting us with this beautiful responsibility of being this little boy's mummy and daddy and I promise he is going to know nothing but love for the rest of his life.
"Visiting @manytearsrescue yesterday was special for me and I will be posting so much more over the next couple of days about the amazing work they do there- but for now, I will leave you with these pictures of my family... and just say - I couldn't be prouder or more grateful."
Vicky has since returned to Instagram with a video showing her trip to collect Max, which also saw her doing a trolley dash to pick up toys and treats for the other four-legged residents at the rescue centre who are yet to find a loving home. "How we spent our Christmas Eve," she shared alongside the video.
"I discovered @manytearsrescue this year & ever since then it has become abit of a obsession of mine to help the people there with the amazing work they do & raise money & awareness for their lovely animals. So long before we even knew max existed @ercan_ram & I were planning a trip to visit the guys in wales & help spread some Christmas cheer with the help of my favourite doggo brands."
Sharing more details about the centre, Vicky wrote; "@manytearsrescue have been a rescue since 2004 & grown a lot since then. They primarily take in ‘ex-breeding’ dogs- So basically dogs that have had no life & just used for profit- but being at @manytearsrescue gives them a chance to learn that not all humans are bad, they can regain some confidence & then it gives them a chance to have a normal life in a home.
"Same for pups that can’t be sold because of the current climate, or cause they have health issues- @manytearsrescue take them in so they can be rehomed & not stay in the cycle of being used as more breeding dogs. But they will always take in dogs from homes that need us, pounds & all sorts of situations like any other rescue centres- in short, the work they do, especially in our current economic crisis is invaluable.
"Along with the incredible donations from the brands above I got a load of beds, blankets, toys & treats for the babies to make sure they had as special a Christmas as possible. There are plenty of ways you can help @manytearsrescue & all the animals there while they wait to find their forever homes- you can donate, volunteer, send in donations of blankets which they're always in need of or most importantly you can choose to adopt rather than shop."
She then added: "Please take a look and be kind," before the comments came flooding in. @shegoeswear said: "You’re amazing for raising so much awareness to rescue." @deb_oconnell wrote: "This just melted my heart. I hope they all find their forever homes soon. A huge thank you for being the kind beautiful you."
@poppy.anneliese replied: "DECENT human, love this . Mine are both from many tears ! And my friend’s!" @lwat2209 commented: "What a wonderful thing to do xxx." @patobaby1983 posted: "Thank you so much for doing this my boy is a rescue dog." @laurajayee shared: "So beautiful what a lovely gift you gave them, absolutely sobbing." @leahk1 added: "I’ve tears in my eyes watching this. What an amazing thing to do!"
