Vicky Pattison fans left bamboozled by Scottish accent change and say she 'turns into Lorraine Kelly'

Vicky Pattison left fans confused after she suddenly adopted a Scottish accent during a brand-new episode of her The Secret To podcast.

The 35-year-old former Geordie Shore favourite was in conversation with Kate Ferdinand, 31, when the guest noticed that Vicky's accent sharply changed.

And Kate wasted no time in calling the instance out, with a hosting Vicky claiming that she didn't notice any voice change whatsoever.

The Mirror reports that Kate pointed out: "Oh, your accent just changed then," with Vicky responding: "Did it?"

The clip went viral on TikTok and Twitter and fans were scratching their heads over her new accent. One user tweeted: "Obsessed with how Vicky Pattison unintentionally turns into Lorraine Kelly mid-sentence," while another fan, penned: "Plot twist: what if she's actually Scottish and she's been putting on a geordie accent so she could go on geordie shore."

"Glad Kate said it.. she vikki watching to much Lorainne Kelly," another commented, while a fourth said: "Why does she sound like lorraine."

"Where the hell did that come from," one TikTok user posted.

It comes after Vicky opened up about being forced to pause her fertility treatment. The star is planning for a family with her fiancé Ercan Ramadan and chose to freeze her eggs.

However, sharing a photo from her hospital bed, the reality star said things hadn't gone to plan.

"Unfortunately yesterday didn't go as planned and I have another cyst on one of my ovaries," Vicky revealed.

"As the injections I would have to administer as part of my fertility treatment are predominantly oestrogen- rather than stimulating the ovary follicles which is what we want to happen- it would end up instead predominantly feeding the cyst and treatment would be wasted."

The reality star admitted she was 'naturally a little bit disappointed and spent most of yesterday crying and just feeling super drained', adding that 'it was as if someone had let all the air out of a balloon'. Vicky did say her case was 'pretty common' and that she was bracing herself for 'more ups and downs'.

She continued: "I need....to be thankful that I'm in a position to have options- which I truly am. And I want more women to know that it isn't easy for lots of us.. and you're not alone. No matter how it may feel. I've made my peace with this today- I'm going back to work, I'm going to focus on other things and I will try again next month."
