Vicky Pattison, 35, freezes embryos and will wait until fiance, 29, is ready for babies

Vicky Pattison revealed she is not ready to have a child and opted for freezing her embryos until the time is right.

The former Geordie Shore star, 35, has been dating Ercan Ramadan for the last four years, with the two getting engaged in 2022.

She began the process of freezing her eggs last year in a bid to preserve her fertility until fiancé Ercan was ready to have children and start a family.

However, earlier this year, Vicky faced heartache when doctors told her that her ovarian cyst meant she would have to pause her journey.

Vicky recently shared the exciting news that the ovarian cyst is gone so she can finally continue freezing her eggs.

"I was just freezing eggs before but freezing embryos [which requires sperm/insemination] has a better success rate so I am doing both," she said.

"I am 35, but I don't want a child right now. I'm not ready. No one's ready."

She continued to new magazine: "Ercan and I have been dating for four years and he's 29. The last thing I want to do is force him into a situation where he's no confident or not ready and then he becomes resentful."

Last week, Vicky opened up about her egg-freezing journey in a series of photos on social media.

She shared a selection of photos of her procedures, tests and emotional moments which she caught on camera.

The former reality star explained that she had a scan at London Women's Clinic to check that her ovaries were responding to hormone injections.

She was told that she had "chubby ovaries," which she was thrilled about.

The TV personality said that the last week on her hormone treatment hadn't been "as bad as she anticipated" and that her "body seems to be responding to the medication".

Sharing a snap of a number of needles, she posted: "A week... what a milestone."

The next snap was of her in tears along with the words: "But I'd be lying if I said it had been plain sailing."

"Like everything in life, a positive mindset is important. I have found, as sickening as I sound, that keeping a bright and positive mindset is imperative to this experience being as smooth and stress-free as possible.

"Anything in life is what you make it. But regardless of how positive you try to be, some moments are just going to punch you in the d***.

"There just are going to be some moments that are really hard and that's ok - you're pumping your body full of hormones, you're building your hopes up, you're putting so much pressure on yourself... feelings of sadness, stress and overwhelm are bound to happen.

"So when they do - just be kind to yourself and do something for you."
