BAFTA winning Nottinghamshire actress Vicky McClure is now one of the most recognisable faces on TV thanks to starring roles in This is England and Line of Duty, amongst others. However, her partner is also in the business of making TV shows.
Breaking the news of their engagement on Christmas Day 2017, McClure and Jonny Owen have now been together for eight years, but are yet to get married. The duo's engagement has been extended by filming commitments and the pandemic.
Last year Vicky gushed about he partner and despite it being "cheesy". She said: "We have basically stayed together from that time [the engagement] until now. We've never lived apart. I am not sure about fate but I couldn't see my life without him."

"When you finally meet someone who gets you, lets you fly, loves you for who you are and you can have that genuine laughter, it's amazing."
"I've never loved anyone more than I've loved Jonny. It sounds cheesy but I love him more and more every day. Things get better and better. Seven years with someone - I feel really lucky. I've had relationships where I didn't have that."
Who is Jonny Owen?
Owen is a 51-year-old actor, producer and voice over artist. His projects have included acting in Shameless , Murphy's Law and My Family and won a BAFTA The Aberfan Disaster which he co-produced with Judith Davies.
In early March 2018, Owen was appointed as a director at Nottingham Forest to control the club's media output and video production. It came just three years after directing the 2015 film I Believe In Miracles chronicling Forest's famous years under Brian Clough in the 1970s and 80s.
Born in Merthyr Tydfil, the Jonny moved to Nottingham to be closer to Vicky.
Owen has one child from a previous marriage, Katie Owen.
A Welsh DJ who was dubbed a rising star by WalesOnline, she cites her dad as being an influence on her career. Jonny was the bass player and lead singer/songwriter in 1990s indie band The Pocket Devils, who were signed to Sanctuary Records in the UK and Pop Music Records in the US.
