Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign has seen a significant surge in fundraising, having raised $200 million since President Joe Biden withdrew from the race and endorsed her. Notably, 66% of these donations have come from first-time donors, as per a memo released by the Harris campaign.
The memo, authored by the campaign’s communications director, Michael Tyler, also sheds light on the campaign's organizing efforts, revealing that they have garnered the support of 170,000 new volunteers.
Tyler emphasized the palpable momentum and enthusiasm surrounding Vice President Harris, underscoring the critical nature of the upcoming election. He pointed out that the race is expected to be closely contested and could hinge on the decisions of a small number of voters in select states.
In a parting shot, Tyler took aim at the Trump-Vance ticket, suggesting that they are in a state of disarray and insinuating that the former president is apprehensive about facing off in a debate against Harris.
