Vice President Kamala Harris was briefed on the school shooting in Georgia before she departed Joint Base Andrews for New Hampshire on Wednesday.

According to a White House official, Harris will receive regular updates from her staff as additional information becomes available. The Biden-Harris administration is committed to coordinating with federal, state, and local officials in response to the tragic incident.

During her upcoming remarks in New Hampshire, the vice president is expected to address the shooting at the beginning of her speech, which is scheduled to start at 2:50 p.m. ET, as confirmed by a campaign official.
