Six pillars surrounded by vibrant wildflowers will be the centrepiece of a permanent memorial to the children who died in a freak jumping castle accident.

The tribute to the Hillcrest Primary School students has been approved by a local Tasmanian council for the foreshore of a beach in Devonport.
