Richard Ashcroft is set to headline a season of outdoor gigs at Delamere Forest this summer, with Liverpool icons Cast providing the support slot. The show will happen on June 18, with Oldham singer Seb Lowe also joining them on stage.
Former Verve frontman Ashcroft released Acoustic Hymns Vol 1, an acoustic album of his greatest hits, at the end of last year. Cast are best known for their decades-spanning career over six albums and tracks like Walkaway and Alright.
Oldham newcomer Lowe, meanwhile, released his first mini-album Half Decent recently, and has amassed a solid fanbase thanks to TikTok.

The show will be the culmination of a series of gigs at the forest, just outside Northwich, dubbed Forest Live 2023. Ska legends Madness kick things off on June 15, with special guest Hollie Cook and support from The Hawkmen.
Then Tom Grennan headlines on June 16, and then Jack Savoretti with special guest Natalie Imbruglia on June 17.
Rob Lamb, Event Manager for Forestry England, said: “The north-west is a powerhouse of British music so it’s great that Cast and Seb Lowe, two of the region’s finest, will be joining Richard Ashcroft as his special guests. It’s going to be a cracking final night to end the 2023 Forest Live series in Delamere Forest.”
Details of the shows and how to get tickets can be found at the Forestry England website.
