Australian influencer Veruca Salt has announced she’s split from her husband Digii, months after she sparked concerns with their whirlwind Las Vegas wedding.
Veruca, who has millions of followers across her social media platforms, set the internet into a tizzy back in October after she announced that she’d gotten hitched to a man she’d only met in late September.
But now, weeks later, she has announced that they’d parted ways, claiming she “fell for his lies”.
“I will be leaving him and leaving LA to return to my beautiful home in Australia. If you purchased anything through his website, please DM me so I can give you that money back,” Veruca wrote.
“Again, I’m very sorry about this. I fell for his lies.”
In another IG Story, Veruca continued to apologise to her followers for platforming her ex-husband and admitted that the whole relationship was a “whirlwind”.
“I told you guys, Veruca Salt lore never ends,” she penned.
“I really hope this doesn’t get messy with back-and-forth posting about each other, and I want to make it very clear that there will be no ‘I married a man I didn’t know part 45’ unless he is posting about me first.
“The things that have happened over the past two and a half months have been a whirlwind and have definitely changed me in ways I didn’t know possible. Imma stick to being an old grandma on my mountain with all my kitties, it’s a much more peaceful life.
“I hope you can forgive me for being a stupid idiot as I have been many times in the past.”
At the end of her statement, Veruca addressed her ex-husband head-on, asking him to “please don’t post anything negative”, before claiming he’d spoken about her son Cash, who passed away from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome in 2024.
“Please don’t post anything negative about me [because] once I open my mouth about what you said about my son… it’ll be over,” she wrote.
“And we both know that’s just the tip of the iceberg.”
Shortly after she announced the news, Veruca changed the caption of her IG Post of the wedding, writing, “We broke up before the ESTA even finished LMFAOOO, but I’m hot so I’m keeping the pics up”.
At the time of the wedding, fans voiced their concerns about the pace of Veruca’s relationship, with some claiming the marriage was a “major red flag”. However, some dubbed the move “iconic”.
Digii hasn’t responded to Veruca’s claims nor the news of their split.
