Vernon Kay has suggested that Tess Daly's moderate eating is the reason why his wife looks "amazing" and "healthy," teasing that he has a quite different approach to meals.
The presenter, 48, discussed their eating habits on the latest episode of the Dish podcast, hosted by fellow presenter Nick Grimshaw, 38, and chef Angela Hartnett, 54.
During their conversations on the podcast, Angela revealed that she had cooked for Vernon and Tess, 53 - who have been married since 2003 - on several occasions in the past.
She said: "Tess has got a great diet. She always looks amazing. She loves fish, veg and stuff." Nick responded: "Tess makes me want to be healthy. She looks healthy."
Vernon went on to share why he believes Tess looks that way, suggesting that it's due to "moderation." He explained that his approach to eating is different to his wife's.
He explained to the hosts: "What she does is, which, which I could never do. I like feeling full. And Tess will go, 'I've had enough, I'm done', you know what I mean?"
"And I'm like, 'I respect that and I really admire that', whereas I'm like, 'I've got half a steak, seven chips and a cup full of peas left. I'm carrying on'," he further commented.

The I'm A Celebrity finalist teased that his approach leaves him "dribbling on the way home" because he's eaten so much, with Nick suggesting that he could relate to it.
