NEW DELHI: Venkatesh Iyer, the versatile Indian cricketer, has secured a contract with Lancashire, a prominent English county club. He will participate in the One-Day Cup tournament and feature in two matches of the County Championship.
Iyer's first appearance for Lancashire is slated for July 28, when they face Kent. His selection was influenced by Phil Salt, his teammate at Kolkata Knight Riders during the successful IPL campaign earlier this year.
