When it comes to food and drink, it's safe to say we have some of the best places right here in Glasgow.
Hundreds of places across the city from the east end, southside and west end have won awards - some of them on several occasions - and they're still going strong.
But whilst our minds often jump to our favourite place to grab a coffee, the best Indian or a burger, many people don't think about vegan places, and as it turns out, they're some of the best in the city with people declaring them as a' must visit'.

In 2022, one in four people living in the UK reduced their meat consumption - and this number is set to rise in 2023.
With this in mind, experts at BesteOnlineCasinos.com decided to find out the cheapest European cities to be vegan. They analysed a comprehensive data set of 3.5 million European vegan restaurants which assessed average meal prices together with vegan restaurant density, user value rating, and free WIFI accessibility to create a ranking metric for each city.
And now that we're in the middle of Veganuary, it seems that Glasgow came out on top after being ranked highly when it come to the most affordable places to be a vegan in the UK.
Coming in second place, and being the only Scottish city, Glasgow was ranked pretty high when it comes to veganism.
According to the data, the average vegan restaurant price comes in at £17.81. Meanwhile 27.47 per cent of vegan restaurant meals were priced under £17.09.
They say: "Glasgow has a range of attractions that will keep you busy from morning until evening as well as great shopping and dining experiences that your taste buds will remember long after your visit. Not only that, but it boasts affordable options for those seeking vegan-friendly cuisine."
