Vatican gives health update on Pope Francis as he's treated in hospital for bronchitis

Vatican Matteo Bruni Bronchitis Holy Week Palm Sunday St Peter Square

The Pope is to be discharged from hospital tomorrow after being treated for bronchitis.

Vatican spokesman Matteo Bruni, in one of several updates on Friday, also said that Francis will be in St. Peter's Square for Palm Sunday Mass at the start of Holy Week.

But he didn't say if the pontiff would deliver the homily during the particularly lengthy service.
