Initially, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai and Toxic were expected to clash at the box office on June 4, after the makers of Toxic postponed their film from March 19 due to the current uncertainty in the Middle East. The revised date created a potential box-office battle, prompting the team behind Varun Dhawan’s film to reconsider their release plan.
In an official statement shared by Tips Films on Instagram, in collaboration with Varun Dhawan and his co-stars Pooja Hegde and Mrunal Thakur, the producers clarified the situation and announced the new release date.
