Viewers of Channel 4's Vardy v Rooney: A Courtroom Drama gave mixed reviews over the new drama on Wednesday night, as some complained within minutes of it starting.
Others hailed it the "best TV all year" as part one of the show, which recreated the UK High Court defamation case between Rebekah Vardy and Coleen Rooney earlier this year, finally aired on screens.
The court case gripped the nation this summer, while Rebekah lost her libel battle against Coleen over a viral social media post, after a High Court judge found it was "substantially true".
