But some worried Hoops fans reckon it’s time their team started getting it together after almost coming a cropper in Perth. Giorgos Giakoumakis pounced in stoppage time to snatch back the win barely a minute after Alex Mitchell had levelled for Callum Davidson’s team.
But Paul Gallagher, Irvine, said: “We got away with one on Saturday. I didn’t think we could be any worse than we were against St Mirren but that was another ropey display in Perth. It was great to see the team go right to the final whistle to get the win but I’d be much happier if we played with the same aggression we showed in the 95th minute from the kick-off.”
Fraser Davison, Glasgow, emailed in: “Just what are Celtic being coached to do these days? They seem intent on playing the majority of the 90 minutes in their own half! Even when on a break up the park they are turning tail and passing back. Too many players are too keen on passing the buck and not the ball.”
