They vanished without a trace, leaving a legacy of heartbreak and questions behind.
These are the North East's mysterious missing people.
People across the region are being urged to look out for these 13 faces in the hope that they can help bring closure to their loves ones.
The charity Missing People keeps a list of those who have been reported missing across the country and have not been found.
And 13 people from our region are featured on its website. A number of these cases were reported in recent years, however some stretch back decades.
The charity says: "Our vision is for every missing child and adult, and every loved one left behind, to find help, hope and a safe way to reconnect."
You can find more details about Missing People's work on its website here.
