Vanessa Feltz has undergone a post-breakup pamper as she treated herself to a trip to the salon after revealing her heartbreak. The broadcaster shocked fans last weekend when she suddenly announced her relationship with Ben Ofoedu was over after 16 years.
The TalkTV presenter told her followers that she was "shocked" and "incredibly sad" as she addressed her and Ben's split in a frank video message posted on Instagram. In the clip, Vanessa said the trust had been broken in their relationship with Ben, who shot to fame as one half of the dance duo Phats &Small in 1998 with the massive hit Turn Around.
Vanessa was quickly flooded with support and the following day (Monday, February 6) she was seen back on her TalkTV show before appearing on This Morning on Wednesday (February 8) where she spoke to Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield about her recent heartbreak.

She told the hosts she 'couldn't sleep' as she thanked her fans and celebrity pals for their outpouring of support. "I think I'm feeling just like anyone else would after the end of a 16 year relationship, which I had my heart and soul in," she said when Phillip, 60, kicked off by asking her how she is doing. "I believed wholeheartedly in it and so when you have to end a relationship, it is very hard. I'm feeling it just like anybody else."
Holly, 41, said people just wanted to pick her up and give her hug, the TV and radio star admitted: "People have been amazing, absolutely amazing, and of course it helps a lot as I can't sleep at all so reading thousands and thousands of messages from lovely people on Instagram is something to do in the middle of the night. I'm really finding my real friends, my real family, people I don't know."
But Vanessa added: "I'm not alone and also, I've been through it before it's not like I'm a stranger to this stuff. I've already had a horrible divorce! It's quite familiar this awful feeling!" However, while those tuning in to This Morning shared their sympathy for Vanessa, they couldn't help but spot an awkward move by the ITV show.
The 60-year-old has since spent some time looking after herself by heading to the hairdresser on Thursday (February 9). Sharing an update on Instagram, the TV and radio star was in good spirits as she spoke to her fans from the salon. "Morning I'm at the hairdresser and what I think is when all else fails get that barnet fixed," she quipped.
She later shared a photo of herself in the hairdresser's chair with a towel around her head as she waited for her cut after a wash. "First fix the hair," she wrote alongside the smiling snap as she also tucked into an iced coffee.
Vanessa then headed off to work on TalkTV and shared a selfie from the studio in which she showed off her sleek new do, appearing to have gone blonder with her locks.
It comes after Vanessa said she is trying her best to 'put on a brave face' in the wake of her split from Ben. Speaking to Ulrika Jonsson on her TalkTV show on Wednesday, Vanessa admitted she's trying to stay positive for the sake of her audience.
She said: 'I'm doing my best to put on a brave face. After all, I'm at work, this is my job.
'I don't want to burden my listeners and viewers by looking thoroughly miserable so they dread watching the programme and thinking, "oh God, Is Vanessa falling apart before our very eyes?" So I'm trying to do a professional job and bear up.'
