Vanessa Feltz put aside her heartache over recent split from fiancé Ben Ofoedu to celebrate Alison Hammond’s 48th birthday on Saturday.
The presenter, 60, let her hair down for the first time since announcing the break-up at Hammond’s and her son Aiden’s star-studded joint 48th and 18th birthday bash.
Feltz partied alongside the likes of fellow This Morning hosts Holly Willoughby, who she recently called her “guiding star” amid her heartbreak, and Dermot O’Leary.
She also danced to pop tracks played by the show’s fashion expert, Gok Wan, who was on DJ duty.
The mother-of-two took to Instagram after the event to post an image of her with Hammond, which she captioned: “What a wonderful party.”
Feltz, who was all smiles in the snap, recently said she’d been “extremely sad and disappointed" because of the end of her and Ofoedu’s 16-year relationship.
She said: “I had thought it might take a bit longer before this came out, because it’s a lot to deal with.
“A shock like this takes some adjusting to, but I am extremely sad and disappointed that my 16-year relationship with Ben is over."
Confirming their split to The Sun on Sunday, she added: “Who knew I’d be single at 60? However, ladies, it’s onwards and upwards and I firmly believe that the best is yet to come...
“I hear that Kylie Minogue is single again, so I’m in good company – if she wants to hit the town, hook me up.”
Ofoedu, 50, is believed to have moved out of their £3.5 million home in St John’s Wood, North London.
The pair started dating in 2005 and seemed inseparable ever since.
Feltz had previously divorced her husband of 17 years, Michael Kurer, five years earlier following allegations he had cheated.
