Vanessa Feltz in Talk TV clash over Meghan Markle as she fiercely defends Duchess of Sussex

Vanessa Feltz fiercely d3efended Meghan Markle in a Good Morning Britain row which saw her brand royal biographer Angela Levine 'spiteful' over her remarks about the Duchess of Sussex.

This Morning regular and radio host Vanessa was a guest on Talk TV when the subject of Meghan and husband Prince Harry came to the fore, days after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex joined forces with Harry's brother William, the new Prince of Wales and his wife Kate,. to look at floral tributes to the Queen at Windsor Castle.

Biographer Angela said she could tell Prince Happy was 'incredibly unhappy,' before criticising Meghan for her comments about the Riyal Family the much publicised interview the couple gave to Oprah Winfrey and her chat with US publication The Cut.

Defending Meghan, Vanessa blasted: "Do you feel any guilt? Do you feel responsible for fuelling a kind of anti-Meghan faction that has been spiteful and targeting and possible fanciful as well? Quite a lot of what's been said about her has been manufactured anyway."

Staying strong on her own opinions, Angela told Vanessa she 'didn't have to justify herself' to her, continuing: "It's up to what you think of me but of course not. I think the talking to Oprah Winfrey was a disgrace, there were at least 17 lies there.

"I think she attacked the royals completely unnecessarily. I think she's changed Harry to be a sort of walking victim."

Angela added that the Prince Harry she knew was "absolutely charming, instinctive like his mother, full of fun, and now he looks incredibly unhappy and very tense and resentful.."

However, Venessa didn't accept Angela's take on things, firing back: " wonder if you're just rehashing that biblical story that we've heard so many times before of the evil temptress and the trusting and vulnerable man who is gullible and malleable in her hands.

"I wonder whether you know if it's based on any real knowledge of her personality and what she truly feels.

"After all, how can you know? How can any of us really know?
