Tube crime on the rise: more violence, public disorder and a 150% increase in graffiti vandalism

Crime on the London Underground is rising - with more violence, public disorder and a massive increase in vandalism reported to the police.

A total of 12,951 offences on the Tube were logged between July and December last year, up from 12,606 in the same period a year earlier - a 2.7 per cent increase.
