Firefighters from Yatton and Clevedon were called to reports of a van fire in Wheatear Road, Yatton, yesterday. (May 13, 2022)
On arrival crews found one fire well alight affecting nearby trees. Firefighters closed the road to ensure residents safety.
Firefighters used two high pressure hose reels to extinguish the blaze. Two firefighters wore breathing apparatus for safety.

After extinguishing the blaze, firefighters cleaned the roadway and ensured the area was safe for the local community. The cause of the fire is thought to be accidental.
