A van driver who was "so intoxicated that he was physically sick" was arrested after being involved in two car crashes.
Gardai have issued a stark warning after the motorist smashed into two separate vehicles in Dublin and on the M7. The man was charged with reckless driving without lights and is due to appear in court.
Officers conducted roadside testing and the blood sample has been sent for full analysis. A garda spokesperson said on Twitter: "The driver of this van has been arrested after he collided with a vehicle in Dublin and another on the M7. When stopped, he was so intoxicated that he was physically sick and couldn’t stay awake.
