The company is set to unveil its second-quarter results on Thursday, July 24, before the market opens. Ahead of the event, analysts expect VLO to report non-GAAP earnings of $1.75 per share, down 35.4% from the profit of $2.71 per share reported in the year-ago quarter. Additionally, the company has surpassed the Street’s bottom-line projections in three of the past four quarters, while missing on one occasion.
