Propyard's immersive 1920s speakeasy
Propyard will be rewinding the clock 100 years for five nights around Valentine's Day for a night of romance and debauchery in the Prohibition era. Diners will be served a three-course menu inspired by the bistros of 1920s Paris as well as live music from Jack Calloway, The Midnight Creepers and performers throughout the evening.
Think The Great Gatsby meets Moulin Rouge, this is the perfect activity for those looking to do something with a date or a group of friends. Tickets are £59 per person, available here, which include a three-course seated dinner, a welcome drink and all-night entertainment.

Arnos Vale's 'love tour'
The experts at Arnos Vale Cemetery are giving an hour-long guided tour to share fascinating stories and point out the secret love signs on gravestones. The 45-acre site has a beautiful, romantic and eclectic history to behold, with this experience on offer for £8 a person - available here.

Stroll through Bristol Light Festival
Ahead of Valentine's Day, Bristol Light Festival is back for a 10-day event this year with some of the most usual, exciting installations they've ever had. The event is from February 3 until February 12, enjoyed best after dark when the city centre comes alive with light and colour.
It's completely free to attend and showcases some of the best artists in their field. You can see a map of all of the installations here to plan a romantic stroll around the city centre.

Watch a rom-com at Bristol Film Festival
If you're a cinephile, you won't want to miss the special Valentine's screenings at Bristol Film Festival this February. Organisers will be showing some of the classics of romantic comedy, including Groundhog Day, Sleepless in Seattle and Notting Hill.

Have a laugh at Slapstick Festival
One of Bristol's longest-running comedy festivals kickstarts on Valentine's Day this year with an excellent programme co-curated by Monty Python star Michael Palin. Slapstick Festival returns for its 19th year with a focus on music including a showing of The Beatles' A Hard Day's Night and stand-out mockumentary This Is Spinal Tap.
The festival will also celebrate Michael Palin in Monty Python in the wake of his 80th birthday, with special showings of A Holy Grail and The Life of Brian. Tickets are on sale here for the event, hosted from February 14-19.

Cocktail tasting at The Wellhead
You can enjoy a custom-made cocktail experience by the team at The Wellhead. There are two evening sittings spread across six days including four cocktails with each course paired with a delicious chocolate truffle.

Blind Date Live at Lakota
Lakota is hosting its very own blind date show on Valentine's Day for an evening of comical entertainment, questionable flirting and Y2K tunes. Tickets are between £4 and £10 depending on the release.
