American discus thrower Valarie Allman secured her second consecutive Olympic gold medal at the Stade De France outside Paris. The 29-year-old athlete's victory was not surprising, given her exceptional performance throughout the year. Allman had consistently outperformed her competitors, boasting a longest throw that was three meters ahead of any other participant in the field.
During the competition, Allman showcased her remarkable skills with a best throw of 69.50 meters, surpassing her winning throw from the previous Olympic Games in Tokyo by over half a meter. This outstanding performance solidified her status as a dominant force in the discus throw event.
The silver medal was claimed by Feng Bin of China, while Sandra Elkasevic of Croatia secured the bronze medal, rounding out the podium for this highly competitive event.
